The First Song - "Kabu Theme Song"
In early September, we weren't planning to write songs for the show.
Back then, Kabu and the Seeds in the Wind was just an evolving story idea, a stack of travel-inspired ideas, and a love of Japanese folklore and culture. But creativity has its own way of spilling over—and one night, Megan sent me this.

She used Suno to generate a vocal performance and instrumental backing, she didn't even write the lyrics lol.
What came out sounded… oddly legit. Like a forgotten anime operning from the early 2000s.

🧡 Why It Mattered
This wasn’t about “making a musical” (we didn’t know we’d go there yet). It was about having fun. Sharing something new. Letting the world of Kabu grow in weird and wonderful directions.
