🌱 Meet Kabu
Rambunctious, adventurous, and endlessly idealistic, Kabu is the farm boy who believes in heroes because he wants to become one.
Every good story needs a hero — or at least someone stubborn enough to try.
For us, that’s Kabu.
Rambunctious, adventurous, and endlessly idealistic, Kabu is the kind of kid who grew up on folktales and decided he wanted to live one. He believes in heroes because he wants to become one — simple as that. Every strange event, every twist of fate feels like part of some bigger story waiting to unfold. That belief drives him to act — sometimes too quickly.
He’s loyal to his village, wields a farmer’s scythe like it’s Excalibur, and will dive headfirst into danger if it means protecting the people he cares about. His impulsiveness gets him into plenty of trouble, but his heart is always in the right place.
A little naive. A little loud. But maybe, just maybe… exactly the kind of hero this cursed world needs.

👤 Quick Profile
- Name: Kabu
- Age: 15
- Appearance: A cartoonish turnip for a head, green leaves sprouting on top, simple traveler’s clothes, and a scythe always at his side. Before the curse, he appeared briefly as a boy with stark white hair and eyelashes — a hint of albinism that already set him apart.
- Personality: Rambunctious, idealistic, funny, impulsive, with a big dream of becoming a legendary hero.
- Arc: Begins as a boy chasing glory, but Season 1 humbles him. By the end, he learns that real heroism isn’t about flashy victories — it’s about sacrifice and empathy.
- Power: Regenerative healing. Immune to the cursed seeds’ corruption. Wields the scythe that can harvest seeds from monsters.
- Flaw: Believes in simple hero/villain narratives and struggles to see nuance.
🎠Why He Matters
Kabu isn’t the strongest fighter or the smartest planner, but he’s the spark that keeps the group moving forward. His optimism is infectious, and even when things fall apart, he holds onto the belief that stories — and people — can still turn out for the better.
And that’s the point. He’s not perfect. He’s not polished. He’s just a farm boy with a turnip head, a scythe, and a stubborn heart. But sometimes that’s all you need to change the world.
